Startect is an oral drench for sheep that deals with a broad range of adult and immature worms. Derquantel works differently. It acts by blocking the nerve signals to the worms. This results ultimately in the worm's death as it passes out of the animal. Abamectin works alongside of Derquantel by restricting the worm's ability to feed eventually leading to the worm’s death. Each active protects the other against resistance ensuring that each works efficiently and quickly.
